Approximately three in ten people stim, and chewing stims — like biting your nails — are the most prominent, and often lead to injury and stigmatization. One of the main solutions is chewelry, silicone-based chewable jewelry. However, nearly all chewelry is made and designed for children. The other popular reprieve is gum.
